Acts 4:32-36

This is the passage about how all the believers in the early church shared their possessions so that no one was in need. But it’s interesting that it starts by saying, “all the believers were one in heart and mind.” This means they shared out of their sense of family, not obligation. God wants me to be a generous person.

Application: I’ll start giving money to sponsor our kids when I go to home groups. I’ll treat people to meals and remember that it’s normal to do so because we’re one body. I won’t expect anything back or think that I’m losing money. I’ll start budgeting better, so that I can have more money to give.
