Week 7 | Devotional | Alex

1 John 4:7-21 These verses really give a good portrayal of the type of love God calls us to and has for us. As I went through the passage and looked at the Greek of the words it was really interesting to see that all the words for love were both Agape and Agapoao. My assumption was that one version is as a noun and the other as a verb, but they way each was defined was different as one was descriptive and the other active. It was just a cool experience for me to get into the word and be able to study the Greek because that is not something I usually do. I feel like this goes with what o have been saying about God growing my heart for his word. Im really excited to see how God will continue to grow that passion in me.
