Week 7 | Life Stages | Alex

I thought it was really interesting to have everything broken down into different life stages. I had never thought of the spiritual walk in that way before, and I was trying to figure out around where I am in the scheme of all this. I feel like I may have a slight idea, somewhere in adolescence, but I really don't know and I'm excited to hear more about it on Friday night. I think one of the most interesting things was how different the translations of the bible were, as PB sometimes used the same verse twice to just give it a new meaning for us, I thought that was really helpful. Thinking in terms of life stages I feel takes all the pressure off because I don't need to keep looking at myself and asking "why do I not have the faith that looks like an adult", of course I want to be striving for that but I think it brought more understanding to the idea of all this being a process of steps that God wants to guide me through and intimately teach me lessons in.
