Week 5 | Devotional | Dan

Acts 4:12 "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved." This is a truth that I've taken for granted, but it spoke to me in a fresh way today. I think PB once said that salvation means wholeness, not just avoiding the penalty of going to hell. So this scripture should apply to my daily life. How often do I look to other people or things to try to fill my void? How many times do I get convinced that certain things will make me whole and healthy? It's a cycle of frustration and disappointment. What I should be doing is crying out to God to heal me and make me whole. There is power in the name of Jesus, strong enough to turn my life around. And it is God's desire to heal me and make me whole again. That was always His intention.
