" Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal.  But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.  For where your treasure is , there your heart will be also"

matthew 6:19-21

This verse really reminded me to not invest in earthly things.  Society is so focused on materialistic goods and uses and measures wealth with money and things.  After this weeks readings and reflecting this passage, it really made me realize the investment that I've put on materialism in my life.  There are so much more important things that don't ever go away with time and money.  Family, friends and God are the first things that come to mind.  I plan on really investing my time and energy on these things and I'll try to stay away from worrying about unimportant things.
