The Sword Maker
This video made me realize that I
want to leave behind a legacy when I die. I want to do what I love doing
everyday because life is too short and too valuable to waste. I want to pave
the way and be an example for the young people of the next generation who are
looking for meaning and purpose.
I also love
the part about keeping traditions untouched and pure. There is value in
tradition. What was good years ago is still good today. Change does not equal
improvement. Let us not get caught up in keeping up with new trends and always
trying to change things up. Instead, let us examine how Jesus lived his life
and follow that model, and then pass it on to the next generation.
The Mentoring Project

Even though
I grew up without my dad, I consider myself very lucky to have had male role
models in the church who took care of me. When I felt like I was lacking
direction, I would always look at what they were doing when they were my age
going through similar struggles. I would also look at how they’re living their
lives now to express godly principles. It makes life seem so much clearer and
easier to tackle when I know that I don’t have to do it alone. I think having a
mentor is not always fun, but it’s necessary.
