“Buck”

            One thing that I found really fascinating from the movie was how Buck could just give a slight pull on the rope and the horse would know exactly where to go. According to Buck, that’s the way it’s supposed to be between a horse and his master. He kept talking about how the horse is an extension of the rider because the two are in such harmony. It’s as if they’re moving as one body, and the horse is doing exactly what the rider wants him to do. He also talks about the horses being sensitive to the rider’s slightest movements and changing directions or speeding up or down accordingly. I thought this was a profound illustration of how our Father leads and guides us. And it’s not by violent force or coercion, but by His love that we come to obey and follow Him.
